🤔 How does Certara support educational institutions?
Certara provides free software access to educational institutions through distinct programs:
Academic Teaching License Program
Centers of Excellence
Additionally, some Certara software products are always available for free to academia (further details provided below).
Academic Teaching License Program
The Academic Teaching License Program (ATLP) is designed to make select Certara desktop software products available to qualified academic institutions at no cost. The desire is to provide as many academic institutions as possible with access to Certara software, with the goal of getting students familiar with Certara desktop software. Re-launched in 2017, this program is used by many students, teachers, and instructors at leading pharmacy and medical schools around the globe!
Process and Guidelines for ATLP
Phoenix PK/PD software is offered free of charge to degree-granting institutions where students will have hands-on access to the software. To apply for the ATLP institutions need to submit the following to Certara:
A course description/syllabus and the course duration for each course in which the Phoenix PK/PD software will be used. The software is to be used for teaching purposes only and cannot be used for research or any purpose outside of coursework.
A signed “Certification of Use of Certara Academic Teaching Licenses" document, which is valid for two years. No licenses can be issued until this signed document is received. The document must be signed by the Dean, Department Chair, or Legal Department.
The number of licenses needed. Licenses are set for the duration of the course(s), up to a maximum of one year, and are renewable every year.
