Certara offers several training sites powered by LearnUpon, including Certara University and Simcyp Workshops. If you're having trouble logging in, the sections below cover the most common issues and how to resolve them.

I forgot my password

On the login screen of any Certara learning portal, click the Forgot your password? link and follow the prompts.

You'll receive an email with instructions to reset your password.


My account has been disabled

If you see a message saying your account has been disabled, this is most likely because the email address on your account was flagged as invalid. Certara University uses an email validation service to identify invalid email addresses, and accounts associated with those addresses are disabled automatically.

This can sometimes happen in error, or as the result of a temporary email issue. If you believe your account was disabled incorrectly, email [email protected] and ask to have your account re-enabled.


I changed employers and have a new email address

If you've changed employers and now have a new work email address, please do not create a new account. LearnUpon has no way to merge accounts, so creating a second account will split your training history across two logins, with no way to combine them.

Instead, contact us at [email protected] and ask us to update the email address on your existing account. Ideally, reach out before your old email address is deactivated so we can make the change while you can still verify your identity.


You get a message saying the email address is already taken

All Certara learning sites share the same login credentials — you don't need a separate account for each one, however you need to request to have your account extended to the other portal. If you have this problem, email [email protected].

Once that's done, you'll be able to log into either site using the same email address and password.


Issues authenticating a training license for Certara software

Certara licenses are managed using Certara Admin, which is a separate system from the Certara training sites. Certara Admin is not used for accessing training courses.
