App integrations allow you to securely connect your applications to Certara product APIs using OAuth2. App integrations can be used instead of personal API keys.
Access app integrations
Global Admins manage App integrations from Settings > App Integrations. If you do not see this page, the feature may not be enabled for your organization. Contact your Certara representative to request access.
If the feature is turned off after you create integrations, the page becomes read-only and displays an alert.
Manage app integrations
Global Admins can create, edit, disable, and re-enable integrations, and rotate client secrets. The integrations table supports search, filter, sort, print, copy, and download. The audit log records all actions.
Edit an integration: Change the “Name,” “URL,” and “SSO redirect URL” of an integration. The system generates the “Client ID” when you create the integration, and you cannot change it afterward.
Disable an integration: Disabling an integration immediately prevents it from authenticating with Certara APIs. Certara Admin preserves the configuration, and you can re-enable the integration at any time.
Rotate a client secret: Generate a new client secret for an integration. This action is permanent and you cannot undo it.
Build an integration
Your application authenticates using the OAuth2 authorization code flow of the Certara Admin API. The flow uses the GET /oauth2/v2/authorize and POST /oauth2/v2/token endpoints. A valid token provides access to environment-specific API endpoints.
To start building, see the API documentation at <yourOrganization>.certara.net/api-docs.
Global Admins can download the OpenAPI specification from this location to share with developers.
